Photographs Of The Street Or Road. Interesting History Information. I Have Available: Interested In The Period From 1890 To 1930. I am researching the Jones side of my family history. I believe my paternal great grandfather David Jones was the licencee of the Riolla (sp) Arms/Hotel, LLantrisant, Glamorgan. He would have been there some time during the early 1900's. During that time my grandfather (his son) William John Jones b@1897. Ran away from home to join the merchant navy, the next time the family heard from him he was in South America. He could possibly have joined one of the coal ships that sailed from either Cardiff, Swansea or Milford Haven.
