The key to Pastplaces is the ability to ask someone who might be on the other side of the world to provide you with a video clip of something specific - places that would not normally be filmed for holiday sites or travel guides. If you are an expatriate and want a video of your far away home, place a video request on Pastplaces and some kind Past places member will likely film it for you. The present becomes the past all too quickly - record your present places - see the past .
