My Father served there for a while, retiring a warrant officer 2 in 1962. We lived in married quarters on Englis Rd, in the camp. I remember playing in the field & woods at the back of the road. There was a rope swing on a large tree on the rail embankment where my brother broke both his arms. A german war cemetry accross the rail track ( or so I believe ). Stables, RP hut, on one accasion being chased by the RP's for playing on the garage roofs. They were good times. The only pictures I have is of my father, on his army issue bike outside a barrack. The others of him being presented with his long service medal. & talking to the CO.
